This plant can be tree- or shrub-shaped. It can grow 30-60’ high with a 15-25’ spread. The lustrous, dark-green foliage on this plant is spirally arranged around each shoot. It is very densely branched and has a rich, reddish-brown trunk. It is used for topiary in England. Native: Europe, northern Africa, and western Asia.
